My classroom
management plan is based on procedures, routines and rules that I enforce from
the first day of school. I teach and rehearse with the students the right
procedures and routines the first few weeks of school. I like to create a
classroom climate of cooperation and respect. I involve the students in
creating the classroom rules so that there is ownership in the classroom
environment. Apart from this, I put a strong instructional program. If students
are actively engaged in learning, the chances of misbehavior is minimized. In
case of misbehaviors, I intervene and follow through immediately.
